Temperature and glass
Medium Dry and Sweet work best at 6 to 8 °C. Young dry styles at 8 to 10 °C. Longer-aged wines can be served at 10 to 12 °C.
A tulip glass gathers aromas and preserves mousse better than a wide coupe.

Remove the foil, keep a thumb on the cork and loosen the wire. Hold the cork and turn the bottle slowly, tilted and pointed in a safe direction.
If wine remains, use a sparkling-wine stopper and refrigerate.
